Contract Engineer Job Description

A contract engineer is a specialist in the field of engineering, who oversees projects, conducts reviews and studies the legal aspects of the contract between the client and the engineer and ensures that all terms of the contract are properly adhered to. A contract engineer must also draft commercial bids and sometimes even estimate budgets for a specific project, prior to the administration of the contract or award.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Contract Engineer

A contract engineer is primarily involved in drafting and preparing documents and works on the contractual terms of a project, between clients and engineers. Since a contract engineer is usually the person between two companies, their work can take on many responsibilities and duties.
